Welcome to my blog!

Snippets from Cornwall is as the name suggests a Cornish-based lifestyle blog set up to document our relocation, focusing on our personal journey, new adventures and other escapades both home and away. It is also a space where I hope to share recipes, general likes, loves and daily life as a parent.  I blog for fun and I value the online community that blogging has opened up to me, so if you are interested in collaborations or want to get in touch then please just drop me an email and I will do my best to get back to you.

Looking for a different pace of life and a lifestyle that balanced our love of the sea with rural living we decided, almost overnight to sell up, leave our life in the Cotswolds and relocated to Cornwall. Snippets came about, as many blogs do from a desire to have a creative outlet. I wanted to explore the niggling desire to curate content and at the same time become part of an online community. Hoping to prevent the sense of isolation that can often come with a relocation, even more so when you’ve chosen to live in a very rural setting.

These snippets are of personal nature and lifestyle orientated and you can expect to find these pages filled with the likes, loves and the latest fads of a wife, mother of teen daughters, on the cusp of the big 40.

To tell you any more would be impossible as I, myself am unsure what to expect from Snippets. What I do know is the thought of putting myself out there petrifies me but, here goes nothing … … …except my dignity, self-respect and mental wellbeing – joke (hopefully!!)
